Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a one-day visit to Goa on Sunday amid the Goa Assembly elections. According to the information, during this time he has a program to address different indoor public meetings in three assembly constituencies of the state.
BJP's Goa unit president Sadanand Tanawade said on Saturday that the home minister would address three public meetings during his visit. The Union Minister will address the first public meeting at Ponda at 4.30 pm, followed by another similar program at Sanvordem at 6.30 pm. With this, his third public meeting will be held in Vasco at eight o'clock.
He further informed that all the three public meetings will be held with 50 percent seating capacity. These will be held in a closed space only. Apart from this, all protocols related to Kovid-19 will be followed during these events. He said that the last rally in Vasco would be telecast live in 10 different assembly constituencies simultaneously.
BJP has fielded candidates in all 40 assembly seats in Goa. In which names like Ravi Naik from Ponda, Ganesh Gaonkar from Sanvordem and Daji Salkar from Vasco assembly constituency are included.
Only 50 percent capacity will be able to sit in a hall
As part of the COVID-19 protocol, the Election Commission last week extended the ban on rallies and roadshows in the five election states till January 31, but allowed public gatherings with a maximum of 500 people in the constituencies going to polls in the first phase. was given.
