I am not sure where I found this name but it was I think back around 2001, my cousin was looking for a name for her cat and I came across this and its just beautiful. The cat has been since going by the name Meena, who by the way is kinda mean LOL and I think its a shame that she ONLY gets called by the nick name cause the full name is very pretty. I have also heard this name once many years later in the book Stolen Lives by Malika Oufkir (amazing book if u have time to read it). The book is a true story and the little girl in it is a princess and her name is Ameenah. Layla means princess so in the story she is mostly referred to as Layla Ameenah. For a cat or a little girl I think its a very pretty name.
