Investor Purchases in U.S. Condos Hit 10-Year Low in the First Quarter
Investors bought just 8,500 condos in the U.S. during the first quarter, down 3% from last year and the lowest quarterly total in a decade, according to a report from Redfin. This is due to a wider pullback in the market, in which 70% of condo units sold below asking.
