Angry America unraveling

I personally don't think an 1861-style civil war is in our future. But it's clear that growing political violence is. We're too quick to dehumanize our political opponents, starting at the top. Trump regularly calls his fellow Americans "sick, sinister, and evil people." A friend on Facebook with a broad brush paints the opposing political party as "a bunch of cold, cowardly bastards intent on destroying America." And Axios reports that most college kids won't date someone with differing political views. This deepening tribalization is a problem, friends. Let's debate, yes, but not vilify. It's un-American.
