Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently on a visit to China, said on Twitter, "Pakistan is united with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters and is committed to their legitimate struggle for self-determination." The Pakistan Army said that the Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa also remembered the sacrifice and determination of the people of Kashmir.
"It is time to end this humanitarian tragedy and resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the resolutions of the United Nations," the army quoted him as saying. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in his tweet that Pakistan stands with the Kashmiri people.
India will not be intimidated by Pakistan's 'new experiment'
India's Union Minister and MP from Udhampur Lok Sabha seat in Jammu and Kashmir Jitendra Singh said, "India cannot be intimidated by the 'new experiments' being undertaken by our neighbor by creating a toolkit to garner worldwide support." He said that if any issue is pending between Pakistan and India, then it is that part of Jammu and Kashmir which is under illegal occupation of the neighboring country.
Kashmir an integral part of the country: India
India has told Pakistan many times that Jammu and Kashmir was and always will be an integral part of the country. It has also advised Pakistan to accept the reality and stop all anti-India propaganda. The Government of India has made it clear earlier also that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of India. India has also told Pakistan that issues related to Jammu and Kashmir are its internal matter and the country is capable of solving its problems.
India has told Pakistan that it wants normal relations with Islamabad in an environment free from terrorism, enmity and violence. India has said that it is the responsibility of Pakistan to create an environment free from terrorism and enmity.
