Islamabad : There is a debate going on in India these days about wearing hijab in schools. Now in this case, Pakistani activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has said that preventing girls from entering schools wearing hijab is appalling. The whole matter is Karnataka where some girls alleged that they were not allowed to enter the campus and class because of wearing hijab. The protest against the hijab started last month at the Government Pre-University Women's College in Udupi, Karnataka.

Six girl students of the college alleged that they were denied entry to the class for wearing the hijab. Commenting on the matter, Malala wrote in her tweet, 'It is appalling to stop girls wearing hijab from entering schools. Women are objectified to wear more or less clothes. Indian leaders should stop marginalizing Muslim women.

Youngest Nobel Laureate
Malala Yousafzai was born in Pakistan. In 2012, Malala became the target of Taliban bullets. Then he was only 11 years old. She has always been raising her voice for the rights of women in Pakistan. In 2014, Malala returned to her family in the UK after a long treatment, and with the help of her father, she founded the Malala Fund. In view of his works, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. She is the youngest Nobel laureate.

what is the whole hijab controversy
The hijab controversy started in January at a government college in Udupi. In the college, six girls had come to the class wearing hijab in violation of the prescribed dress code. Subsequently, similar cases came up in Kundapur and some other colleges in Bindur. There have been several incidents in the state where Muslim girl students are not being allowed to attend colleges or classes in hijab. At the same time, in response to the hijab, Hindu students are coming to educational institutions with saffron shawls.

The matter has reached the court
There have been incidents of students wearing hijab or saffron shawls arriving at Ramadurga Mahavidyalaya in Belagavi and educational institutions in Hassan, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga. The matter has reached the Karnataka High Court. Some girl students have asked permission to wear hijab in the college. Meanwhile, two more girl students of a private college in Kundapur have also filed a petition requesting similar permission.
