I thought I made this name up so many years ago when I was playing around with the name Christina. I was adding and subtracting letters and in the end came up with Astana. I have since found out that this is the capital of Kazakhstan, and that a friend I went to school with along time ago actually used it for her daughter. This is such a beautiful girls name.
